This site has been created to provide unsecured creditors with information and to solicit and receive comments from unsecured creditors about the pending chapter 11 bankruptcy case of North American Health Care, Inc. ( “NAHC”).
On February 6, 2015, NAHC commenced chapter 11 docket number 8:15-bk-10610-MW in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California in Santa Ana, California ("Bankruptcy Court"). NAHC’s chapter 11 case is being jointly administered with the chapter 11 case of its affiliate, Carmichael Care, Inc., docket number 8:15-bk-10612-MW. Judge Mark S. Wallace is the presiding judge.
On February 11, 2016, the U.S. Trustee appointed the Committee, which consists of the following seven creditors: (i) The Scott Technology Group, Inc. (“Scott Technology”); (ii) Medliance, LLC (“Medliance”); (iii) Judith Goldman, individually and as representative of Edward Goldman, deceased (in both such capacities, “Goldman”); (iv) Kenneth Chandler and Brenda Luker Gilman, individually and as representatives of Essie Chandler, deceased (together and in both such capacities, “Chandler”); (v) Jack A. Howarth and Linda Gottfredson (together, “Howarth”); (vi) Sandra Tyler, Curtis Wilson, and Deborah Wilson, individually and as representatives of Freddie Wilson, deceased (collectively and in both such capacities, “Wilson”); and (vii) Raymond K. Pierce, by his guardian ad litem, Robert C. Shaw (“Pierce”). The Committee has selected Klee Tuchin Bogdanoff & Stern LLP ("KTBS") as committee counsel, and on April 13, 2016, the court approved KTBS’s employment. David M. Stern, and Robert J. Pfister are the principal attorneys at KTBS responsible for this engagement.
