Ryan M. Hicks is a member of KTBS in the Corporate Practice Group. Ryan focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and other transactional matters for clients in various industries, including technology, banking and financial services, digital media, and gaming and hospitality, among others. Prior to joining KTBS, Ryan was a partner at an international law firm, where he represented private equity clients and public and private companies in a wide variety of M&A transactions, including joint ventures, asset acquisitions and carve-outs and other complex transactions.
Ryan was recognized as Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in 2026 and has taught a number of webinars and other CLE courses on M&A topics.
Ryan earned his J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, where he was a senior editor on UCLA Law Review. He received both his MAcc and B.S. in accounting from the University of Utah, David Eccles School of Business.
