Tanner Frei is a member of KTBS in the Corporate Practice Group. Tanner focuses his practice on debt financing transactions of all kinds, including the representation of private equity sponsors and corporate clients in secured and unsecured financings, cash-flow and asset-based facilities, leveraged buyouts, cross-border transactions, workouts and restructuring/debtor-in-possession transactions, and first-lien, second-lien, mezzanine, subordinated, unitranche and preferred equity financings. Tanner has negotiated and closed transactions in a diverse group of industries, including healthcare, technology, life sciences, manufacturing, real estate and energy.
Tanner received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law, where he was a member and a Managing Editor of the UCLA Law Review. He was also a recipient of the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and externed for The Honorable Scott M. Matheson, Jr. at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Tanner received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah.
